Hello & Farewell Series // Woods Cove - vertical landscape painting
When I was a senior in college in Southern California, my roommate and I started a tradition of picking up a boxed lunch from Trader Joe’s after church on Sunday and heading to the beach. But not just any beach. We would drive the extra distance to get to this special little spot in Laguna Beach: Woods Cove. It felt like a hidden paradise. Some of my favorite memories of that year were from this magical little cove, sitting and studying, swimming, and spending time with a good friend. When I considered which places in California stood out in my mind for this collection, I knew Woods Cove had to be included.
